The Best Car Company was established in London in 1966. Formed by my father, Ian Best. This is where my love and fascination for classic cars began. I remember very well our first Jaguar E-Type, a BRG 3.8 FHC. Then, a near new low mileage car, I first sighted it through the window of a rented lockup garage and next in my father’s showroom at the Purley Oaks Service Station. From then-on the Jaguar E-Type became my fascination. In later years the company moved to Wimbledon Village selling, servicing and repairing the very same type of cars we work on today.

58 years later my enthusiasm for all classics has not diminished, and after 47 years in the business I have a deep well of knowledge to offer in the field of British and European classic cars.
