Black, Grey leather, Automatic, 3.4 litres, Fixed Head Coupe, 62,500 miles, chrome wire wheels. VIN-No. S824700BW AUS$ 82,450
This genuine low mileage 3 owner car is one of only 400 automatics delivered worldwide and is a real pleasure to drive, it was delivered originally to the UK before the owner migrated to Australia in the early 60's. When the car went to its second owner in 1985 he had the body of the car professionally restored by Concours Sporstcar Restorations and the mechanicals by Geoff Lord in Wollongong, he retained the lovely original interior only recently replacing the headlining and carpets. It went on to win Silver at a state concours event.
Its last owner has maintained the high standard of the car and loved the factory fitted Webasto sunshine roof and the original fully functional HMV valve radio.
It comes with its Heritage certificate, books and history papers and is a matching numbers car.
Introduced in 1957, the XK 150 was the last and most sophisticated of the Jaguar XK series that ran throughout the 1950s, and this car with its immaculate Black paint, beautifully patinated leather interior and chrome wire wheels is a good example of the famous English marque favoured by the Hollywood set of the time.
