Adhering to William Lyons' maxim of 'grace, pace and space', the Mark 2 was a beautiful, fast and capable saloon car. It came with either a 2.4 L, 3.4 L or 3.8 L Jaguar XK6 engine.

The car we have here is a super example of these fine cars, it was subject to a full bare metal restoration in the early nineties which included a complete retrim and mechanical restoration, it has been sparingly used in the susequent years.

It has always been maintained by marque specialists, most recently by Graeme Lord in Wollongong who carried out a complete engine rebuild just a year ago, this means its next lucky owner has nothing to spend, just the enjoy the strong engine with slick shifting manual transmission and overdrive.

The car was delivered new here in Australia and has had only three owners, its second owner converted the car from automatic to manual.

It is finished in that classic Jag colour 'Old English White' and is complemented by a Red leather interior, it has the usual wood fittings, beautiful 'Dayton' wire wheels and a Webasto sunshine roof to enjoy those lovely Autumn days.

It comes with files full of history including a photographic record of its restoration. These fine cars are a great way to enjoy classic motoring all year round.
