Delivered new in NSW it had a Ford V8 and 3 speed manual gearbox. Used mainly as a road car it was also used in competition in the 1950's.

The car was laid up in 1963 for 34 years, until the current owner purchased it in 1997.Thereafter the P1 underwent a comprehensive restoration over 7 years, by Graham Smith, Allard owner, racer and restorer, This included fitting a rare and desirable Cadillac 5.3 litre engine and hydramatic gearbox, an American option when new.

This immaculate Allard has been used on a regular basis including a run in the touring category of the East Coast Classic Rally in 2003. Surely an extremely rare opportunity to purchase a piece of automotive history.
